Justin Iredale

Justin Iredale is a maker and artist from the Bay Area. In the past 5 years he has been working on a wide range of highly technical fabrication and art projects. After receiving his Associate degree in Machine Technology from Laney College, Justin went on to build FabLabs (educational maker space facilities), co-produce the Alameda Mini Maker Faires (where he first encountered P.e.a.c.e. !nc), 3D print houses, manufacture the George Lucas Museum of Narrative Art, and participated in various art events with the Firehouse Art Collective and Local Artists Berkeley. During his time with Firehouse, Justin collaborated directly with founder/director Tom Franco on art shows and events including Alan Chin’s installation at the Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Art, San Pablo Avenue (Oakland) mural, and live painting at the Outside Lands 2019 music festival. He is noted by his peers for not only his creative art skills, but his hands-on engineering skills as well. Justin’s artwork tends to incorporate various found objects and materials that he repurposes by modifying and customizing with various mediums such as laser cutters/engravers, 3D printers, and metal/wood cutting equipment. When he’s not here at the P.E.A.C.E. Provocateur managing the workshop and being innovative, Justin is hard at work manufacturing semiconductor and biomedical processing machines.
